Las 101 mejores series ( escritas ), según la Writers Guild Association


La Writers Guild Association ha presentado esta semana su lista con las 101 series mejor escritas de la TV. Desde luego este listado tiene algo más de importancia y sentido común que otros, pues la lista está confeccionada con algo de idea y por el propio gremio de guionistas, aunque como siempre habrá polémicas, faltas y demás discusiones. Hay un gran porcentaje de series creadas en los últimos 20 años ( etapa de ORO de la televisión, donde la ficción de la pequeña pantalla despega definitivamente y se pone al mismo nivel – y en muchos casos con una calidad superior – al cine ) si bien también hay muchos shows de otras etapas como los años 50-60-70. En fin, como decía un listado muy completo :

Como habéis podido observar un listado muy complete donde entran tanto series de género como americanas e inglesas, si bien me faltan varias inglesas, y más viendo el gran estado de la televisión británica; puestos a ser un listado confeccionado por guionistas incluiría una serie que ha sido revolucionaria ya desde su mismo punto argumental como es Black Mirror (2010 - ); una importante presencia de sitcoms con puestos elevados como Senfield en el segundo puesto, Arrested development ( la cual acaba de ser rescatada por Netflix ) o 30 Rock. Las series de género no son olvidadas con ese tercer puesto para The Twilight Zone o la presencia del remake de Battlestar Galactica. Incluso tenemos Twin Peaks ( verdadera " madre" de la TV moderna ) o la ( excelente y complementaria ) adaptación literaria de Juego de Tronos en el puesto 40

 HBO tiene 11 ficciones, con Los Soprano en esa primera posición. Me sorprende ver en un puesto tan elevado a Sexo en Nueva York por encima de otras ficciones y echo de menos Treme, aunque David Simon tiene The Wire ( obra maestra del guión ) y Homicidio. AMC tiene a sus dos ficciones estrella, Breaking Bad y Mad Men mientras Showtime cuela Dexter ( ¿? ) en un puesto no esperado.

Estoy de acuerdo con muchas, creo que en realidad estas series son excelentes, en especial The Sopranos y The office, a mí me gusta mucho ahora Hello Ladies donde está Merchant con Gene Stupnitsky y creo que también han hecho una buena mancuerna, creo que desde The office, Merchant se ha vuelto muy conocido por su humor extraño.
